Journal of Chinese Modern Medicine is an internal medical academic publication, which deals with the research achievements of medicine in China and abroad. The journal is published monthly by the Chinese Academy of Clinical Medicine.

　　The scope of the journal extends over the whole range of internal medicine including basic medical research related to  internal medicine and clinical progress. The purpose is to popularize the clinical experiences, scientific research achievements ,and to strengthen the academic exchange. at the same time to provide a field for exchanging experience, inspiring mutually and linking up information for those working for basic research, clinical diagnosis and treatment. It is intended for high and middle ranking medical staffs.  The main columns of the journal include commentary, original articles, treatise, clinical experience, experimental research, investigation, review, short article and case report.  The journal publishes all original papers, letters, and reviews concerning basic and applied researches. The original articles are written in Chinese or English, if in Chinese they should include an Extended English Abstract.
　
　　The journal is compiled in line with the related international standards. The table of contents, colophon, as well as the abstracts, and key words of each thesis is written in English. The articles are contributed from every  corner of China, and parts of them from abroad. Since publication, the journal has been abstracted by many databases and searching publications ,such asChemical Abstract(CA),IndexCopernicus(IC),Chinese Medical Current Contents (CMCC), Chinese Academic Journal(CD) (CAJ-CD), etc. , and restored by Medical Library of Chinese PLA.

　　A group of editors with high scientific morale and quality at specialty are responsible for dealing with papers presented by authors seriously .The process of publication is strictly in conformity with international practice. As an academic media, we have invited a large number of medical scientists including some academician to become members of editorial board.
